If you laugh, we’re doing comedy.
If you don’t, we’re doing drama.

Upcoming Shows

Word Jazz

March 23, 7:30-9:00 PM, Sharp Nine Gallery, Durham

Inspired by Ken Nordine’s eponymous 1957 album, Word Jazz is made up of scenes based on improvised monologues and live music by a five-piece combo. Improvised songs and even some old standards will also figure into the mix. It’s all initiated by audience suggestions. Our first Word Jazz performance at Sharp Nine, home of the Durham Jazz Workshop, in September 2023 was a warmly-received sellout!

Tickets: $30 general, $20 student

Paddy Wagon Tales

April 27, 7:30-9:00 PM, The ArtsCenter, Carrboro

Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales meets the Dead Kennedys’ Police Truck. Suspects rounded up in a paddy wagon share their stories on their way to jail.

Tickets: $25 general, $15 student
